Hi there! It has been awhile since I last paid attention to my blog. Life and all our family activities had overtaken the only spec of time I could sit down and write. Lots of wonderful and exciting things did happen while I have been gone and I plan to share them all soon. Thanks for being patient and sticking with me on this journey.
One exciting thing that did happen was being nominated for the Liebster Award! A big thank you to Amber from humbledmom.com for this wonderful recognition. I have been tweaking and improving my blog bit by bit and it has paid off. Amber has a great site about all things MOM. From homeschooling to wife and kid stuff. This is one of my favorite blog articles on her site A reminder to my children:11 things I hope you’ll live by. It is a sweet love letter to her kids with some great advice.
I started my blog in April 2017 and was very new to the whole blogging world. The Liebster Award is for new/newer bloggers and has some unique requirements when accepting the award.
This nomination makes me very happy and excited! I have great things in mind for my blog, hopefully including soon an online shop of homemade creations such as paintings, bookmarks, natural bath bombs, soaps, lip balms, healing salves, and essential oil blends. Plus, much more! Maybe even some E-books about homesteading and animal care. Lots of ideas swirling around in this brain of mine.
Let’s get to it!

That’s it. Now it’s up to the above bloggers to accept their nominations and continue the circle of the Liebster Award by recognizing new blogs out there.
Blogging isn’t an easy hobby or past time by any means, trust me. It takes a lot more time, effort, and creativity than one thinks. It is more like a part time job and for a stay at home mom and homeschool teacher like me, that extra time is hard to find. Being nominated for the Liebster Award gives me confidence and encouragement to keep going. My blog is getting viewed and my posts are being read! That’s a big deal to me.
Thanks, and God bless.
On to day number two in my 30 day blog challenge. Today’s topic…
